Welcome to my web pages! I might have referred you to this web site or a friend may have. Either way, I'm glad you're here and hope you can help.

I'm working to collect essays of varying lengths from women who worked in television's early years: essays, short bits written for this project, or relevant journal or diary entries that the women or their families would like to share for this project.

At this point, I’m interested in writings of any length, from one-paragraph remembrances to extended essays. Instead of imposing writing topics, I hope the women will share with me what they think is relevant and allow that to influence the final project. I do, however, have a questionnaire for those who send in contributions. It will give me basic information about the contribution and the original author of the piece. Additionally, any women who would like suggested writing ideas are encouraged to reply to the third section of the questionnaire at any length they desire. As the contributions come in, and I find time, I plan to add them to this web site. Eventually, I would like to publish all of the contributions in a book.

To the left is a navigation bar with links to a number of documents related to
the project: a list of women who worked in television at the time and some
information about them (any information on contacting these women or their families would be appreciated), a list of people I've contacted about this project, a
questionnaire for contributors, a bibliography of texts and other materials
about early women in television and a little bit of information about myself,
the project coordinator.
